Free Office Makeover / Office Renovation for Nonprofit Organization Executive

Goodmans Interior Structures has begun Goodmans Eye for the Good Guy program, which will award an office renovation valued at $20,000 to the most dedicated and effective leader of a Maricopa County 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Starting March 4th, nominations will be accepted online through April 4, 2005, at http://www.goodmansgoodguy.com/. In May, the public will have an opportunity to vote online for their favorite "Good Guy." The results of the public vote will be combined with scores from a panel of local judges to decide the winner. The winning "Good Guy," along with his/her office, will be highlighted in a fall issue of The Phoenix Business Journal, the co-sponsor of the program.

Teaming up with The Business Journal, Goodmans Interior Structures has begun an effort to bridge the gap between leaders in the for-profit world and their counterparts among nonprofit organizations.

"Today's successful non-profit organizations must function a lot like for-profit businesses," says Don Henninger, publisher of The Business Journal. "We always are looking for ways to give them the information and exposure needed to do that."

In many ways, the concepts of openness, teamwork and the freedom to explore new opportunities and ideals have always been more prevalent in the offices of charitable organizations. Yet these workers, filled with such vibrant energy and passion for their mission, are often stuck with second-hand or leftover furniture and configurations.

The man or woman to be named the area's "Good Guy" will be treated to the redesign of his or her office space, to include office furniture and other appropriate interior construction products. To be eligible, the nominee must be an executive director, president or CEO of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Maricopa County. The community is welcomed and encouraged to submit multiple nominations for the same candidate.

Visit "Goodmans Eye for the Good Guy" to nominate a nonprofit organization executive for a free, $20,000 office makeover / office renovation.
